2-Day Workshop – Napkins! The Art of Handcrafted Table Weaves

In this weekend workshop, we will create a set of hand-woven napkins that you will design and weave from start to finish. On the first day, we will begin by sketching out your ideas for a set of up to four napkins. Together, we’ll explore different patterns and design options, from which you will select your color palette. There will be five prepared looms, one for each participant, offering a variety of weaving patterns to choose from. After the lunch break, you’ll start weaving your first napkin and have the opportunity to make final adjustments to your design.

On the second day, you will spend the entire day weaving and tune into the rhythm of the loom. We will guide you through the process and help you improve your weaving skills. In the afternoon, we will finish the workshop by taking your napkins off the loom and sewing up the seams. You will go home with a finished set of beautiful handwoven napkins—perfect as a gift or a special addition for your dinner party.

  • By taking part in our classes, all participants must ensure they have private liability insurance.

  • Please consider carefully before signing up for one of our classes or purchasing a class for another person. As we are operating as a small business with limited capacity, each person makes an important contribution and a short notice in cancellation can make it difficult to fill your spot.

  • If you do need to cancel, please be aware of our policies: If the cancellation is 30 or more days before the start of the workshop, you have the option of rescheduling or receiving a full refund minus a 25€ processing fee. A course cancelled fewer than 30 days from the start of your workshop cannot be refunded nor rescheduled. No refunds will be given on gift cards and weaving passes.
